Prep Time, Total Time & Servings

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Blending Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Servings: 6 glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers, washed and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 liters cold water
  • Juice of 2 lemons (optional)
  • 3–5 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables

Wash the cucumbers and celery thoroughly. Peel the carrots and cut all the vegetables into small pieces so they blend easily.

Step 2: Blend

Place the chopped cucumbers, carrots, celery, and about 2 cups of the cold water into a blender. Blend on high speed for 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth.

Step 3: Strain

Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher. Press the pulp gently with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 4: Mix

Add the remaining cold water to the pitcher. Stir in the fresh lemon juice if using. Sweeten with honey or sugar to your desired taste, mixing until completely dissolved.

Step 5: Chill

Add plenty of ice cubes or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.

Step 6: Serve

Pour into tall glasses filled with ice. Garnish with cucumber slices, lemon rounds, or a celery stalk for a fresh presentation.

Tips

  • Use chilled vegetables for an extra-refreshing drink.
  • For a stronger vegetable flavor, reduce the amount of water slightly.
  • Fresh mint leaves or ginger can be added for extra flavor.
  • Drink within 24–48 hours and keep refrigerated.
  • Stir before serving, as natural separation may occur.
